Sumeet & Ekta Goa : Big Fat Indian Wedding held at The Goa Marriott Resort and Spa

When we call this a Big Fat Indian Wedding, we mean BIG Fat Indian Wedding! Gorgeous clothes, even prettier faces and outfits that are true bridal and grooms wear inspiration. Held at The Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, Sumeet and Ekta’s three day power packed wedding was full of color, tradition and a whole lot of love shot brilliantly by the talented team at Fotografia 9.

The Mehndi + Pool Party

The mehndi was held outdoors and had gorgeous décor details. Topiaries of marigold flowers, colorful khatiyas and brightly hued cabanas made this mehndi as pretty as could be. Ekta’s stunning fuchsia sharara and off-white kurta combination was a perfect pick for an outdoor function like this one. The vibrant energy spilled on to the pool party, one of the most colorful parties we’ve ever seen! With all the aunty and uncleji’s taking the lead in their floral beachy attires and desi dance moves. The funky floral garlands and even funkier headgears were just the cherry on the cake – it was one of the most fun functions at the Sumeet Ekta summer wedding.

The Sangeet + Engagement

The next day brought with it the grand sangeet and engagement ceremony. Dressed like royalty both sumeet and Ekta had looks that could kill. The gorgeous brides jacket style lehenga was made in hues of gold and blue, while Sumeet wore a button down black jodhpuri jacket with white tapering pants. Dressed to suit the aura of the occasion these two did it so right.

The Wedding + Reception

The blatant love all around this wedding and reception ceremony was a perfect end to Sumeet and Ekta beautiful three day summer wedding. Dressed in a classic red and gold wedding lehenga, Ekta made a gorgeous bride. Sumeet looked dapper in his embroidered white and gold sherwani – a perfect match to Ekta’s red and gold. The reception was all things grand and desi with loads of dhol-baaja and dancing.
