Sanil & Mansi Nashik : A quintessential Maharashtrian affair, the couple donned traditional outfits – simple yet elegant.

Sanil & Mansi Nashik : A quintessential Maharashtrian affair, the couple donned traditional outfits – simple yet elegant.

This wedding was a typical Maharashtrian affair with the bride and groom dressed in traditional outfits.

Love connection

“All that you are, is all that I’ll ever need.” -Ed Sheeran

Sanil and Mansi met a year ago over a social networking site. Sanil sent her a text for meeting him, however, Mansi declined.

Gradually, conversations between the two increased and they started getting more comfortable with each other. This time, Mansi took the initiative and asked Sanil to meet her over a cup of coffee.

This was just the beginning!

They started talking more, meeting more often, and before they knew it cupid had struck!

Proposal

After a year of frequent meetings and dates, Sanil took the big step and proposed to Mansi on her birthday.

A week later, she said ‘YES’!

The Wedding

The wedding festivities kicked off with the haldi ceremony. Sanil wore a subtle white kurta, while Mansi was dressed in a bright yellow saree with embroidered floral motifs. She paired her outfit with white and red floral jewellery.

Next was the wedding ceremony. For the pheras, the couple donned quintessential Mahrashtrian outfits- Mansi wore a multi-coloured paithani- a combination of rust, pink and blue, with gold prints. She paired this with a gold necklace and dainty gold earrings. Her ensemble was understated, yet pretty! Sanil wore a cream satin kurta, paired with an orange stole.

Post the pheras, the couple coordinated their outfits- the bride wore an ivory and baby pink heavily embroidered lehenga, while the groom wore a matching bandhgala sherwani.
