Rohith & Akshera Mumbai : This beautiful bride in kanjivaram saree and her fun filled wedding has warmed our hearts!

Akshera and Rohith got hitched in a fun filled wedding at Mumbai. Their big fat Indian wedding had everyone tapping their feets and enjoying themselves!

Their Story..

Akshera and Rohith met in Dubai when both of them were in college. At a party Akshera was impressed by his dancing skills and told her friend about it. Her friend behaved like a matchmaker and convinced them to start dating. Akshera says, “ When we started spending more and more time with each other, we realized how much we really liked each other and how well we got along. In a few months, I had to head for my next semester in Sydney and that’s when Rohith had to head for his masters in Germany. We weren’t sure if we would stay in touch but once we left we couldn’t go even a few days without talking to each other. That’s when our long distance love story started.”

The Wedding Planning..

While Akshera insisted on an outdoor venue, Rohit wanted something with a classy ambience. After a lot of searching they finalised Hyatt Regency for all their functions. The decor for each function was meticulously planned and executed by Dream Knots. The bride recalls, “I remember long back seeing a flower pasting wall gifted by Kanye West to Kim Kardashian and liking it a lot. For the reception, I asked our decorator if she could recreate something like that. She recreated it and it was much more larger and bigger than I expected!”
